Amazing Book

Although I've lost a lot of weight the weight loss has been recently stagnating and I suffer still with obsession with food.  I have been stubborn in my ways, but have finally become willing to try another way.  The person who has been helping me who has totally overcome similar problems suggested me trying the way in this book: Food Addiction, the Body Knows.  I don't want to jinx it but I have to say I'm amazed by how I feel, for the first time I'm not obsessing about food and constantly hungry.  It requires you eat a balanced diet in a simple to measure way of carbohydrates, protein, vegetables and fruit.  It truly does something crazy to your brain.  It was suggested to me to not worry about following what's in the book to the tea as it's pretty extreme, but to do as much as I can, and so far that is working great.

My Weight Loss, Vita Tops

I have lost 40 pounds in the past year.  It's been quite a journey learning how to take care of myself.  I've been abusing food my whole life and now I'm taking care of myself.  I feel like I had to relearn and am still relearning everything.  I'm currently 5'4" and about 135 pounds and am now losing the final 15-20 to be where I want to be.

My new favorite food item is Vita Tops.  They are 100 calorie pre-packaged muffin tops.  Most low-calorie snacks are either totally unsatisfying and I want 20 of them or they do not taste good.  Vita Tops are made from whole grains and have nutrients packed in them but you would never know it.  They are really satisfying, natural, contain fiber, and are only 100 calories each.  Beautiful, music.  My favorite flavors are the Deep Chocolate and Blueberry Bran, especially the chocolate - it's truly rich.  Fresh Direct carries these, they have a website from which you can order online, and I have seen them at most grocery stores too.

Why hot yoga?



I've come to truly love practicing yoga, in particular, hot yoga. It blends the physical with the spiritual and the mental - it's the only workout that I've found that gets more and more exciting, that I never get sick of and, what I like most about it, it transforms the body rapidly. Hot yoga causes weight loss and beautiful toned muscles very quickly. Also, the steam that results in the room, among many other things about hot yoga, helps your skin to look young, vibrant and beautiful.
